Six people were expelled from the premises after holding a party in the building that has been evacuated after Thursday’s landslide in Halden.

A security guard discovered that unauthorized persons had entered the evacuated building on Saturday night, newspaper Halden Arbeiderblad writes.

“We went down and found six people in the basement. It looked like they were having a party. They were expelled from the place,” operations manager Finn Håvard Aas in the Eastern Police District said.

All the residents in the apartment complex were evacuated when parts of the jetty promenade by the city bridge in the center of Halden slipped into the river Tista on Thursday night. No one was injured.
