Hamar registered its first corona-related death in October
A nursing home resident infected with the coronavirus in Hamar Municipality died in October, the newspaper Hamar Arbeiderblad reports.
Thus, the Municipality registered its first corona-related death so far in the pandemic.
The case has not been known before but was confirmed on Friday by the municipal manager for health and care in Hamar Municipality, Vigdis Galaaen, to Hamar Arbeiderblad.
Galaaen did not want to comment on the age or gender of the deceased.
The FHI’s latest weekly report shows that there have been 53 corona-related deaths in Innlandet County since the start of the pandemic.
