After a month of strict restrictions, Hammerfest is now easing some of the local corona measures.

Among other things, libraries, cinemas, and gyms can now reopen. The same goes for churches, mosques, and other religious and philosophical institutions, the Municipality announced.

Adults over the age of 20 can now take part in organized sports and leisure activities, but with certain restrictions.

Up to ten people are allowed to meet up in private homes, and public events can take place again, although with visitor restrictions.

The alcohol-serving stop at 10 PM remains in force, as well as the requirement to order food alongside alcohol.

The new regulations apply from Tuesday, June 22, and up to and including Thursday, July 1.
