Hand sanitizers are here to stay
The trade and service industry will continue with hand sanitizers in shops and restaurants even after the corona pandemic is over.
NHO Service og Handel tells P4 that both customers and employees appreciate the hand sanitizer at the entrance.
“The industry thinks that this is something they should continue with. This has led to a good cleanliness habits and awareness among customers”, believes CEO Anne-Cecilie Kaltenborn.
Employees and customers have had a more disease-free and safer everyday life when Norwegians choose to wash their hands, according to Kaltenborn.
Assistant director of health Espen Nakstad believes that hand alcohol is one of many measures that should be continued even after the corona pandemic.
“We know good hand hygiene prevents the spread of cold viruses, common diseases and many other things and thus hand sanitizers will be important even after that pandemic is over”, says Nakstad.
