Haukelifjell mountain pass closed due to snow and slippery roads
Snow on Haukelifjell has led to slippery roads on the E134, which is temporarily closed pending salting.
“It is snowing on Haukelifjell, and on the bypass for the Haukel tunnel, it is now so slippery that the traffic has to wait until the salt is applied. This could take up to 2 hours,” Vegtrafikksentralen wrote on Twitter just before 9 o’clock.
The meteorologists have issued a yellow danger warning in advance about snow in the high mountains in Southern Norway, which could lead to demanding driving conditions in some places.
