Health Directorate: 267 corona-infected patients are currently admitted to Norwegian hospitals
On Wednesday, 267 corona-infected patients were admitted to hospitals in Norway. That is an increase of three patients from the day before.
Out of the total, 47 patients are on respirators, according to the Norwegian Directorate of Health’s overview on Wednesday.
Since February last year, 89,120 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in Norway, Wednesday’s preliminary figures from the national reporting system for infectious diseases (MSIS) show.
A total of 520,067 people have been vaccinated with the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine in Norway, the National Institute of Public Health’s (FHI) statistics show on Wednesday.
