Health worker at Telemark Hospital violates quarantine rules, gets 25,000 kroner fine

A health worker at Telemark Hospital has been fined NOK 25,000 for violating the quarantine rules.

The Southeast Police District revealed the information in a press release on Wednesday. 

The fine was issued on Tuesday.

“The accused has been made aware of the fine,” prosecutor Guro Siljan stated.

According to the police, the health worker went to work four days after returning from a trip abroad, thus violating the ten days of quarantine obligation.
