Several places in the lowlands of Agder, Vestfold, Telemark, and Viken registered over 60 millimeters of rain in 24 hours. In the mountains, there was even more precipitation.

Lifjell in Telemark registered the most precipitation (125.9 millimeters), meteorologists wrote on Twitter.

The yellow danger warning, which was issued at noon on Monday, is now over. But that does not mean that people in Eastern Norway will get nice weather in the next few days. The weather forecast shows a lot of precipitation next week.

Due to the heavy rain, the danger of forest fires in Eastern Norway is now over, according to state meteorologist Eldbjørg Moxnes.
