Hellerud murder: Accused Romanian man in his 20s acknowledges the facts of the case

The man accused of killing a woman at Hellerud in Oslo acknowledged the facts of the case on Wednesday.

The Romanian man in his 20s, who is charged with the murder of the woman in her 20s in Hellerud on Tuesday, acknowledged the actual circumstances in the case, the police informed in a press release on Wednesday morning.

They also wrote that the accused had not taken a position on criminal guilt. The man, who was questioned for several hours on Tuesday, has cooperated with the police. The police did not comment on the content of his explanation.

The accused has agreed to preliminary imprisonment. His defender, lawyer Cathrine Grøndahl, told NTB that she expects that he will be imprisoned for four weeks – with restrictions.
