Several foreign leaders and colleagues have congratulated AP’s Jonas Gahr Støre after the election results became clear – including Hillary Clinton.
“I have received many messages from foreign leaders and colleagues. I really appreciate that,” Støre said when he met the press outside his home at Ris in Oslo on Monday morning.
Among them was former US presidential candidate and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
“I have also received a message from a person who has meant a lot to me, Hillary Clinton,” Støre said.
Among others, the German chancellor candidate from SPD, Olaf Scholz, also congratulated Støre.
