Hordaland: Son accepts sentence of 13 years in prison for killing mother
In September, a 21-year-old man was sentenced to 13 years in prison for killing his mother at Sotra in May last year. Now it is clear that he will not appeal the verdict.
The 21-year-old’s defender, lawyer Rudolf Christoffersen, confirmed the information in an email to the newspaper Bergensavisen.
The man was convicted on September 17 of killing his 55-year-old mother in their shared home on Sotra in May last year.
During the trial in Hordaland District Court, the man denied criminal guilt, but now it is clear that he accepts the verdict.
