Norway’s Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt reacted to the Russian rocket attack on the port of Odesa on Saturday. Norway condemned the attack.

On Friday, Ukraine and Russia signed an agreement on the export of grain which, among other things, entails the resumption of grain exports from three Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea.

The next day, Russian rockets hit an important grain export port in Odesa.

Huitfeldt told Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) that the situation in Ukraine is horrible.

“This agreement was a sign of something that could take things in a different direction. Then, this attack took place. It is clear that we are worried,” Huitfeldt said.

“The attack increases distrust between the parties, and it is very serious,” she added.
