Hungary eases corona measures for vaccinated people

Hungary decided to ease restrictions on people who have a card that shows they have been vaccinated or have been infected with the coronavirus.

From Saturday, everyone who has the card can use the restaurants, hotels, theater, cinema, gyms, library, museums, and the famous baths in Budapest.

Hungarians who have received at least one vaccine dose and those who have recovered from COVID-19 can now get the Hungarian immunity card.

However, there have been bureaucratic problems with the issuance of the card. Many people who have received both doses have not yet received the card.

Due to a violent outbreak of the virus this spring, Hungary was among the world’s worst-affected countries. But the authorities have acted aggressively, and 40$ of Hungarians have now been vaccinated.
