A number of Hurtigruten’s systems are down after the company uncovered a comprehensive computer attack on Monday night.
“This is a serious attack. Hurtigruten’s global IT infrastructure appears to be affected.
“Hurtigruten has implemented comprehensive measures to limit the extent of the damage from the attack,” Ole-Marius Moe-Helgesen, Executive Vice President of IT, noted.
The company is now working with the authorities and partners to get an overview of the situation and limit the spread and damage of the attack.
“Our main priority now is to ensure safe and good operation for all guests and employees.
“We are working with all available resources to isolate the effects of the attack and limit the damage it can do,” Moe-Helgesen added.
