On Tuesday morning, employees at Ikea Forus were informed that they would receive a record high bonus.
After a very good year, the furniture giant Ikea is giving employees with more than six months’ experience in the company a record-breaking bonus, according to newspaper Aftenbladet.
“All employees who meet the criteria receive a bonus that corresponds to more than a monthly salary,” communications manager Heidi Wullum told the newspaper.
Employees at the department store in Stavanger will receive 120% of their monthly salary as a bonus.
That is the maximum of what can be paid out as a bonus in Ikea and a new record.
Ikea confirmed to Nettavisen that around 3,000 employees could expect a bonus in the run-up to Christmas.
