Important that Norway talks well with everyone
“The position of the UN Security Council gives Norway an important position to influence international cooperation,” says NHO CEO Ole Erik Almlid.
– “The job comes at a time of increased geopolitical tensions and where international organizations are under pressure. For small countries like Norway, it is especially important with binding international cooperation that ties up the big countries and creates predictability for the companies,” says Almlid.
He believes it is especially important to work for the World Trade Organization (WTO) to regain relevance.
– “With increased differences between countries, it is important that Norway talks well with everyone, including those with whom we disagree,” says Almlid.
