The incidents of the flu is moderate but increasing, but the Public Health Institute (Folkehelseinstituttet) also notices that influenza A is declining.
While influenza A, which dominates the season, on the way down, influenza type B increasing.
Last week got 2.2 percent of those who went to a doctor in Norway, received the diagnosis of “influenza-like illness.”
Last week 5,312 samples were taken nationwide. 21.9 percent of these
were positive for influenza.
– This indicates that the influenza activity now is moderate. The activity was at its highest in Hordaland county. There were no reports of influenza outbreaks in health centers, according to the Public Health Institute in its weekly report for influenza surveillance.
