In the last 24 hours, 215 new coronavirus cases have been registered in Bærum Municipality.

That is the highest number of infection cases in a single day registered in Bærum throughout the pandemic.

On Monday, the Municipality reported 119 new cases of infection, and the “yellow” level of operations was introduced at nine primary schools. The reason for stricter measures was, among other things, a substantial increase in infection tracing work.

A total of 9,309 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in Bærum since the start of the pandemic.
