Infection spike in Bergen – 31 new corona cases registered

A total of 31 new infection cases have been registered in Bergen in the last 24 hours. That is 21 more than the day before.

Eighteen of the new cases are close contacts, and one is a case of imported infection. Six people have an unknown route of transmission, and six have an uncertain route of transmission, the Municipality stated on its website.

A total of 2,908 people tested themselves in Bergen on Tuesday.

The average in the last week in Bergen was 11 new infections, the same number as the average for the last 14 days. 

A total of 5,020 people have been registered as infected in Bergen since the pandemic began.

In addition, the Municipality detected twelve new cases of the British virus mutation.
