In Porsgrunn, a party has created major problems for infection tracing efforts. Several of the women who were at the party claim they don’t remember who was present at the party.

At the same time, the infection is spreading in society.

So far, 20 infected people have been registered after the party on the weekend of April 9 to 11, newspapers Varden and Telemarksavisa write.

The infection has spread out of the Municipality, and according to municipal chief physician Jan-Arne Hunnestad, the infection has so far been registered in Porsgrunn, Bamble, and Skien.

Due to the party-related outbreak, a large number of people in kindergartens, schools, and workplaces have been quarantined.

It is not clear how many people attended the party, and those who were present generally claim they don’t remember.

“This is a great burden for society,” the municipal chief physician noted.

On Thursday, 260 people were quarantined in the Municipality.
