The corona situation still holds a strong grip on the airport in Sandefjord.

In January, traffic fell by 84.6%, and foreign traffic has suffered the most.

Foreign traffic fell by as much as 90.1% and ended up at only 11,380 passengers, compared with 115,366 in the same period last year.

For domestic travel, the decrease was 60.8%. The number of travelers ended up at 10,608 compared to 27,053 travelers the year before.

In a press release, the airport stated that the large decline is due to the corona situation.
