Jæren: Three people charged with robbery of two teenage boys

Three people have been charged with robbing two boys aged 15 and 16. The boys were subjected to violence during the robbery, according to police.

Two young boys were arrested on Monday. Three people have been charged in the case, the newspaper Stavanger Aftenblad reports. The two boys who were robbed were beaten by several people, operations manager Olaug Bjørnsen in the Southwestern Police District stated.

“Three people are charged for the incident at Nærbø. During the day, we will hold witness interviews of both the accused and the victims,” police lawyer Erik Engløkk told the newspaper Aftenbladet on Monday morning.

“The accused took several objects from the victims, including a jacket.”

The Southwestern Police District was notified of the case at 10:40 PM on Sunday. At 1:15 AM, the police reported that two boys in their teens had been arrested in connection with the incident. According to Stavanger Aftenblad, the father of one of the boys reported the incident to the police.
