Sunday June 5 is the World Environmental Day, and Keep Norway Clean will mark the occasion with a cleaning up action in Lofoten.
Marine litter has sadly become one of the biggest environmental threats, and Keep Norway Clean will therefore use World Environment Day to focus attention on the problem.
– As part of our efforts to prevent and clean up marine litter, we choose to mark the occasion of the World Environment Day with a cleaning up action, manager for Keep Norway Clean, Lise Gulbransen says.
Keep Norway Rents administration will arrive in Stamsund with Hurtigruten in 19 o’clock Sunday 5 June and from there the journey continues with RIB to organize Skokkelvika and Lyngvær. After the cleaning up action their journey with Hurtigruten will proceed to Tromsø, where Keep Norway Clean will attend the Waste Conference 2016.
