A Kindergarten Employee charged with rape of children
An employee of a private kindergarten in the municipality of Fjell in Hordaland is charged with sexual abuse of children under 14 years.
The person was arrested last week after police had received a case, Police will not yet say whether it concerns abuse of one or more children, or even abuse outside the kindergarten, wrote the newspaper Bergensavisen.
The person is charged with violating the Criminal Code Section 299 concerning rape of children under 14 years. The penalty is imprisonment of up to ten years.
It is not known whether the case is related to police comprehensive Operation Darkroom where many tens of people in the past year has been suspected, many indicted and some convicted of child molestation.
Investigations Responsible Torbjørn Mørkfrom from Sorta police did not say how the accused stance on suspicion of assault. This person is not yet prepared for custody, wrote newspaper Bergens Tidende.
