King Harald sent his condolences to Israeli President Reuven Rivlin after the death of Nobel Laureate Shimon Peres.
The King writes that he was sad to hear the news that the former prime minister and president is dead.
– Peres, who I even got to meet, played an important role in the struggle for peace. On this sad occasion, we will be grateful for his efforts and his lengthy service as an Israeli statesman, writes Harald.
