Both King Harald and Crown Prince Haakon were present at the Guard’s Church Parade in a crowded Oslo cathedral on Monday. The parade is an annual pre-Christmas tradition.

Guard Chief, Colonel Lieutenant Vegard Flom, accompanied King Harald and Crown Prince Haakon into the cathedral before the banner was brought forward.

Guard Priest Major Kenneth Henriksen delivered the sermon, while the Guard’s music band performed works such as “Silent Night” and “Mitt hjerte alltid vanker,” writes the Royal House on their website.
