Two weeks after King Harald fell sick with cold symptoms, he will once again hold an audience at the Palace.

On Thursday, according to the program on the website of Norway’s Royal House, the king will meet Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt (AP).

On Friday, January 28, the king fell sick with cold symptoms, and Crown Prince Haakon took over some of his duties.

The king’s last audience at the Palace before the sick leave took place on Thursday, January 27, when King Harald also met Minister of Foreign Affairs Huitfeldt.

She announced later that day that she had tested positive for COVID-19 a few hours after the meeting. In a statement to NTB, Huitfeldt said she hoped she had not infected the king during the meeting.

The king tested negative for COVID-19 several times, and Queen Sonja described his sickness as a mild cold. During the audience with Huitfeldt on Thursday, Queen Sonja and Crown Prince Haakon will also be present.
