The trial against 38-year-old Espen Andersen Bråthen, who is, among other charges, accused of having killed five people in Kongsberg, is set to start in Hokksund on May 18.
In addition to the five killed, there are 26 other victims in the case. The trial will take place in Buskerud District Court in Hokksund.
On Friday last week, the parties met in a court for a preparatory meeting. There, they agreed to start the main hearing on May 18 at 9 o’clock.
Fifteen court days have been set aside for the presentation of evidence, district court judge Liv Synnøve Taraldsrud told the channel.
Four women and a man lost their lives in Bråthen’s attack in Kongsberg on the evening of Wednesday, October 13.
