The seven people who received saline solution instead of a corona vaccine in Kongsvinger have been tracked down and vaccinated. In addition, 140 people have been fully vaccinated.
The vaccination team in the Municipality has mapped who got the saline solution instead of the vaccine. The routine failure has also positively affected the other 140 people who were vaccinated the same day – now they have received their second dose two months earlier, mittkongsvinger.no writes.
“95% of those who were vaccinated in Holthallen that day have now been fully vaccinated – two months earlier than planned,” municipal chief physician Camilla Kvalø Smedtorp noted.
In recent weeks, the Municipality has been working to identify the seven people who received the saline solution. This has taken a while because the immune system must get the necessary time to react to the vaccine and develop antibodies.
The antibodies are the difference between those who had been vaccinated and those who had received the saline solution.
