Kristiansund is tightening its local quarantine rules. Household members of infected people must now be quarantined even after the third dose, and a maximum of five guests is recommended in private homes.

In addition, infection quarantine is introduced for people under the age of 18 and students in upper secondary school, the Municipality wrote on its website on Friday.

Persons under 18 years of age and students in upper secondary school are exempted from the quarantine obligation if they had COVID-19 during the last three months.

The exception for employees in schools and kindergartens still applies. There are also other exceptions to the rules, which can be found on the Municipality’s website.

In addition, local health authorities recommend that events be canceled or carried out digitally.
