On Monday, the search crews will use a drone at the Tokagjelet river gorge and a boat in Movatnet in the search for the last missing person in Kvam.

“Today, we will search Movatnet and parts of the Hardangerfjord. In addition, the Bergen fire brigade will use a drone to search Tokagjelet,” operations manager Svein Valland Laupsa told the newspaper Bergensavisen.

Police station chief Terje Sperrevik in Kvam told the newspaper Bergens Tidende that less precipitation in recent days means that it may be possible to carry out physical searches in the river.

During the weekend, search crews found two dead people in the Tokagjelet area and in Movatnet. The two are believed to be part of the group of three missing people. They are still unidentified.

The search operation was launched on Sunday, October 24, after a boat with three people disappeared in Kvam in Hardanger.
