Large fight in Oslo but no arrests

The police received a report of a mass brawl in Tøyen in Oslo on Saturday night,but they have not found those responsible.

 

The information that came to the police reported that both bats and belts had been used in a fight between youngsters at Tøyen, Oslo police police district wrote on Twitter at 21:30 on Saturday evening.

Several patrols searched for those involved, but without results. After half an hour the search was stepped down.

‘’We have not found any injured. We have checked some youngsters, but we have not found anyone that we can say with certainty had been involved.We have also found no injured or any of the weapons used,” said Operation Manager, Marita Aune, to NTB news.

“We have stepped down our efforts, and this is not something we want to move on,” said Aune, who does not know the details of what happened in Tøyen or what the reason for the fighting was.

“But we can assume they had disagreed about something, because they made so much trouble that people in the area reported it to us.’’
