A total of 110 cases of infection have been linked to the freshman week at BI Nydalen in Oslo.
“The freshman week led to a lot of mingling. Naturally, there is a lot of infection when there are a lot of social events,” district chief physician Tom Sundar told the newspaper Nordre Aker Budstikke.
He noted that BI is following up on the outbreak in a good way.
“They have introduced good systems for testing. A testing tent has been established outside the premises where students can get a free rapid test.”
Most cases were registered last week and at the beginning of this week. On Friday, two cases were reported.
“I think we must expect a few more cases in the coming days, but I think we will see a downward trend.”
