A Latvian man has been sentenced to 13 years of prison for killing a colleague in a tent in Holmenkollen after a Christmas party in 2018.

The man pleaded guilty.

The verdict corresponds to the claim that the prosecutor made after the court hearing in Oslo District Court.

The accused man admitted that he killed his colleague with a knife, pleading guilty to premeditated murder.

According to the verdict, the man and the victim in Holmenkollen were at a Christmas party.

At 2:30 AM, a situation arose where the accused felt offended.

The nature of the offense was not specified during the court proceedings.

However, in response to the offense, the Latvian man pulled out a knife and cut his colleague’s throat.
