Despite the fact that Lillestrøm Municipality is transitioning from level A measures to level B measures, alcohol-serving venues and fitness centers will remain closed.

The ban on indoor sports and leisure activities, with the exception of top-level sports, will remain in force, Lillestrøm authorities decided on Wednesday, newspaper Romerikes Blad writes.

Shopping centers and shops, on the other hand, are allowed to stay open, but with strict infection control requirements.

A ban on more than 50 people at funerals will remain in force, as well as a ban on guests at weddings, baptisms, confirmations, and similar rituals.

Before the weekend, the Norwegian government decided that Lillestrøm, Lørenskog, and Rælingen municipalities would be transitioned from level A measures to level B measures on May 6.

The decision is supposed to take place on the condition that the municipalities coordinate with Oslo, and that they introduce strong and coordinated measures beyond the regional measures.
