The employees in the Integration and Diversity Directorate (IMDi) have submitted a response to the Ministry of Justice criticizing the measures proposed by Immigration and Integration Minister Sylvi Listhaug.
Norwegian Civil Service Union of Integration and Diversity (IMDi) is highly critical to the ministry’s austerity proposals of immigration legislation,it states in a response to the consultation which has been submitted to the Ministry of Justice of the trade union Norwegian Civil Service Union (NTL), reports the newspaper Aftenposten.
– Our assessment is that the proposals do not contribute to the integration desired, says the head of NTL IMDi, Marit Lund Larsen, who told the newspaper, about the 40 proposals for tightening of asylum and immigration policy which the government presented just before Christmas.
IMDi is responsible for implementing the adopted integration measures . NTL is the biggest union in Directorate
