Progress Party deputy leader Sylvi Listhaug believes that the election of a new party leader is not a topic now.
– “I mean this is not a topic now. I think the theme right now is how we will work out politics in Parliament in the future,” said Listhaug at NRK’s Political Quarter on Tuesday morning.
– “Now we have a lot to discuss in the future. We will discuss party programs, we will discuss the composition of the parliamentary group, we will discuss what issues we will now face in Parliament,” she continued.
Listhaug is often highlighted as one of the favorites to take over if Siv Jensen resigns. The party leader is up for election at Frp’s national meeting this spring.
