Immigration and Integration Minister Sylvi Listhaug is going on a frontal attack on the Humanist Association (HEF), which she believes is leading a crusade against Christianity.

In an interview with the Christian newspaper Dagen, Listhaug accuses the HEF of “stirring ip the mood” and “putting a spoke in the wheels for everything to do with Christianity.”
The background is the union’s opposition to school worship.
– I mean it joins the ranks of prejudices from the HEF..
They have become obsessed with combatting everything to do with Christianity so its almost starting to become a bit of a parody.
This idea sounds like a crusade against Christianity, she says.
Press Officer Jens Brun-Pedersen of the Norwegian Humanist Association has reacted strongly to the attack from Listhaug, which he describes as “Trump rhetoric.”
– I find it embarrassing that a central Norwegian politician reveals their ignorance in this way.
The least that should be required is that people in key positions make a minimum of effort to familiarize themselves with what they want to attack actually means.
On Wednesday night Prime Minister Erna Solberg lamented that some schools have opted out of Christmas services, an initiative that was featured as small and  contemporary by the NHA.
