Long queues of Swedish voters in Oslo
A long line of eager voters was queueing outside the Swedish Embassy in Oslo in the final vote of the pre-voting session for Sweden.
Sweden holds parliamentary elections the following Sunday, and Swedish voters have been able to pre-vote at the embassy in Oslo since the 16th of August.
On Monday, it was the last evening the Embassy would be open late, 1900, and the queues were long. On the Facebook page of the Embassy, it reassured that the doors would be kept open until everyone had voted.
“Everyone in the queue is going to have a voice, all you need is patience,” wrote the Embassy in the 18th century.
The last opportunity to pre-vote at the embassy is Tuesday morning between 10 and 12. Before Monday’s voting ended, the embassy announced that they had received 3,400 votes. The eight Swedish consulates around Norway took pre-voters this August.
