Major changes in the timetables on Metro network in Oslo
Several stretches of subway are adjusted and some lines have changed timetables in Oslo Saturday. The reason is construction work between Majorstuen and Borgen.
Router advise travelers to allow plenty of time and check departures.
Lines 1, 4 and 5 are adjusted on certain stretches and running other routes. In addition, the amended timetable. Lines 2 and 3 running regular routes, but getting changed timetables, refer to ruter.no for details.
The reason for the changes are that Sporveien (maintance) needs to replace a track switch between Majorstuen Station and Borgen Station. All subway traffic in both directions must therefore pass Majorstuen station on one track.
The traffic will go back to normal on Sunday morning.
