On Wednesday morning, a power outage on the Drammen line and issues at Oslo S led to train delays in central Eastern Norway.

“The overhead line for the trains fell down. We are working on it, but do not know how long it will take,” press contact Gunnar Børseth in Bane Nor told NTB.

He added that he was notified of the issue around a quarter to six on Wednesday morning. The issue first led to only one track being used. Now that track is also closed because work is being done to repair the error.

At Oslo S, a different issue led to a train stopping in Brynsbakken on the east side of the station. The problem has now been solved, but delays are still expected, Brøseth added.
