Primeminister Erna Solberg leads by nearly 3 percent over Jonas Gahr Støre in the prime minister poll for October. Last month it was the other way around.
According to NRK’s premier minister poll 43.3 percent think that the current prime minister is the one best suited to lead the country. Støre is still fairly close, with 40.7 percent.
Last month, it was the other way around, and Solberg notes the fluctuations.
– It’s nice. It goes a bit up and down between each month, but it’s nice with the support of so many. Now we just have to keep up this level of support towards the election, she said.
Støre believes that Right will not be in the lead for long.
– I think we’re going to come out ahead. I think we have a better policy.
It’s going to be a tough race towards the election in September next year, where the voters are to make their choice between two candidates for the position of Prime Minister and between two policy approaches, but I have faith in our approach, he says.
