A 27-year-old Polish man has been sentenced to compulsory psychiatric care for killing his older brother at Haslum in Bærum last April.
The judgment is in line with the requests of both the prosecution and the defense counsel , the newspaper Budstikka writes.
The 27-year-old attacked his 30-something brother with a formwork hammer in april the 22. last year. He then retrieved a crowbar which he used to strike his brother’s head and neck. His brother died of his injuries in hospital two days later.
The incident occurred in a house that was under renovation and where the two Polish brothers were working, the police informed NTB after the incident.
