A 44-year-old from Bergen, has been charged with serious threats after making a bomb threat to a reception center in the comments field on the online edition of the newspaper Bergens Tidende.
One night in November the 44-year-old read an article about a new reception center at Ågotnes outside Bergen, and wrote, “This is a bomb threat to Aagotnes CCB. These refugees will be bombed to hell. Within two hours, “in the comments, according to the online newspaper Nettavisen.
A few hours later, the police were at the door. He was questioned but later released.
Prosecutors have now indicted him for serious threats. According to the indictment the threat was made without any provocation and “motivated by the victim’s skin color, national or ethnic origin, religion or belief,” the newspaper Bergens Tidende writes.
