A man allegedly fired an air weapon at children and adults at Espeland in Arna outside Bergen.

No one was hit, and the situation is under control, operations manager Eirik Loftesnes in the Western Police District told the newspaper Bergens Tidende.

“There were several adults and children present, and they reported that they reacted to what they thought were bullets that had been fired in their direction. The shots came from some type of air-powered weapon,” he told the newspaper.

The police sent five patrols to the scene when they received the report about the incident at 5.30 PM on Sunday.
