Man arrested for arson in Kristiansund
A man in his 30s has been arrested by police after a fire at an apartment in Kristiansund Sunday afternoon.
The police were notified of the small fire on the Ivar Aasen street in the city center in around 1:30pm on Sunday. Firefighters quickly gained control over the fire.
The remaining seven apartments were evacuated and there were no reports of injuries. The man who has been arrested is well known by the police and acknowledged being behind the arson.
