On Wednesday a 50 years old man was beaten and robbed by three people in Oslo downtown. Three people were arrested after a few minutes.
The police was notified about the robbery in Glacisgata at Akershus Fortress at 4:35. Five minutes later three young men arrested a few hundred meters away, reports TV2 news.
– The man has been beaten up and they threw stones at him. The robbers took both the mobile phone and wallet from innocent man before they ran off, said operation leader Finn Belle at the Oslo police.
When the young men, who were in their mid-20s were asked by the police about the robbery, they denied having anything to do with it but police found victim’s belongings on them.
The man in 50s was transferred to the emergency room but he was not seriously injured.
