Man caught driving under the influence at 175 km/h on the E6 in Viken

A driver without a valid license, whom the police suspect was under the influence of drugs, was stopped after driving at 175 kilometers per hour on the E6 in Viken.

The police reported the case at 2:38 AM on Thursday. The car was moving at a speed of 175 kilometers per hour in a 110-zone on the E6 at Dal.

“The driver, a man in his 20s, was reported for speeding, driving without a valid driver’s license, and driving under the influence,” the Eastern Police District wrote.

The police noted that they suspect the man was under the influence of cocaine and THC, which is the active ingredient in cannabis, when he was stopped.
