The man accused of killing an employee at a NAV office in Bergen in September agreed to eight weeks in custody.

On Tuesday morning, the accused man’s defense counsel, lawyer Morten Grimstad, told NTB that his client agreed to the extended custody after it became clear that the police would not ask for a letter and visit ban.

“We will not ask for restrictions,” police attorney Christine Møen Wisløff in the Western Police District told NTB on Tuesday morning.

“We want to question the accused, but the date for that is not completely clear yet,” Wisløff added.
