Man dies after participating in the Bergen City Marathon
A man in his 30s died after participating in the Bergen City Marathon. The man collapsed in the finish area after the race.
On Saturday night, the police told the newspaper Bergensavisen that the man was dead. The relatives have been notified.
“He was declared dead in the hospital,” on-duty police attorney Arne Fjellstad said.
The police have routinely opened an investigation into the case after the death. The deceased will be autopsied.
